P&O Aurora. This beautiful and elegant ship is one of the largest in the P&O fleet and has all the hallmarks of conventional cruising with lots of exciting modern additions. Aurora received an update in March 2019 that saw the ship redesigned as an adults-only vessel. Gone are the kids clubs and teen areas, in their place are 28 brand-new cabins that were added to Deck 8. Other areas benefit from refreshed carpets, soft furnishings and upholstery. Aurora is one of the oldest ships in the P&O Cruises fleet (it was launched in 2000), and came out a much-needed £26 million refurbishment at the end of 2014 as the first to carry the new livery, featuring a contemporary version of the Union Flag on its bow, and a blue funnel. This may have disappointed a few P&O Cruises regulars, but it indicates the line's policy to combine a traditional British atmosphere with an up-to-date cruise experience.

And, with its white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, rugged coastline, ancient archaeological sites, and fascinating culture and traditions, who could blame them? The Mediterranean Island truly does have it all. Corfu is a must-visit destination that will leave you with unforgettable memories.

    Day 11

    Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik. Filled with ancient stone buildings, narrow cobbled streets, and fortified ramparts rising above red-tiled rooftops. Stradun is the city's focal point and main artery.  Whilst Dubrovnik's streets are blessedly free of traffic. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the old city remains the pride of the Republic of Croatia and houses the world’s oldest pharmacy.  Lantern-lit limestone alleys, pealing bell towers, and russet rooftops, ancient Dubrovnik remains a show-stopper. From May to September, you’ll find yourself jostling through crowds along its beautiful Stradun (the main promenade, in ivory-white limestone) and towering city walls.
    Day 12

    Split

Split is a stunning city located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. It’s a lively and vibrant destination that offers travelers a unique blend of ancient and modern experiences. At the heart of the city is the famous Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s over 1,700 years old. The palace is a fascinating maze of narrow streets and hidden courtyards that are packed with restaurants, bars, and shops. Split is also well-known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning views of the nearby islands. Whether you’re interested in history, or culture.

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and is located just off the southern coast of Italy. This beautiful island offers visitors a unique blend of history, culture, and stunning natural beauty. The island is famous for its delicious food, particularly its seafood, and its rich history which has seen the island ruled by Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and Normans. Some of the must-see attractions include the ancient Greek ruins of Selinunte, the stunning Mount Etna, and the beautiful beaches such as San Vito Lo Capo. Sicily is a destination that offers something for everyone!

    Day 15-16

    At Sea

You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools, and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends. Activities and entertainment tend to ramp up on days at sea because everyone is onboard the ship. You might notice more trivia contests, tournaments in the casino, afternoon shows in the theater, musical entertainment, poolside activities, and even special classes not offered on other days of your cruise.
    Day 17

    Gibraltar

Gibraltar, Red pillar boxes, fish-and-chip shops, and creaky 1970s seaside hotels: Gibraltar – as British writer Laurie Lee once commented – is a piece of Portsmouth sliced off and towed 500 miles south. ‘The Rock’ overstates its Britishness, a bonus for pub-grub and afternoon-tea lovers, but a confusing double-take for modern Brits who thought the days of Lord Nelson memorabilia were long gone. Poised strategically at the jaws of Europe and Africa, Gibraltar, with its Palladian architecture and camera-hogging Barbary macaques, makes an interesting break from the white towns of bordering Cádiz province.
    Day 18-19
