We explored the old town, sampled delicious tapas, and took a leisurely stroll along the picturesque waterfront. The local markets offered an array of artisan crafts and souvenirs.
Lively Lisbon
Next, we docked in Lisbon, Portugal’s capital. This city is a delightful blend of traditional and modern influences. Highlights included a visit to the historic Belém Tower, a ride on the iconic tram 28, and tasting the famous pastéis de nata. Lisbon’s vibrant nightlife and friendly locals made our stay truly memorable.
Sunny Seville
Our final port was Seville, a city brimming with history and warmth. We marveled at the grandeur of the Seville Cathedral and strolled through the fragrant gardens of the Alcázar. The local flamenco performances added a passionate flair to our visit, providing a perfect conclusion to our Iberian adventure.
Return to Southampton
As we sailed back to Southampton, we reflected on a week filled with breathtaking sights, delicious cuisine, and enriching cultural experiences. The P&O Ventura provided an impeccable journey, leaving us with cherished memories of Spain and Portugal—destinations we are eager to revisit.
