The MSC Poesia, a Musica-class ship, entered service in April 2008. At 293.80 length the ship can accommodate 2,550 passengers (with double occupancy). Admire the spectacular waterfall in the foyer of MSC Poesia and enjoy a soothing break in the Zen Garden. The public areas are modern, colorful, and pompous. The cabins are more classic, but also decorated with colorful accents. Tastefully exuberant decor -- brass handrails on the staircases, marble countertops at reception, a waterfall in the atrium, twinkling lights on the ceiling in the theater, means the ship is elegant but not boring.
