Royal Princess. Although Royal Princess debuted in 2013, it went into dry dock for an extensive renovation in December 2018. Many features were added or upgraded during the three months that the ship was out of service, including its beds and the beautiful Lotus Spa. Royal Princess is a large cruise ship with a maximum capacity of 3,560 passengers, but crowds are usually not an issue here. You may find some lines and waits at peak dining times – and finding a lounger around the main pool may be a frustrating experience on sunny sea days – but the open-plan spaces, multiple elevators, and ample seating make for good passenger flow. If you’re wondering just how big Royal Princess is, the answer is 1,083 feet long (exactly the length of 3 American football fields) and 260 feet tall.

    Sydney - Embark

    Day 7-8

    At Sea

You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools, and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends. Activities and entertainment tend to ramp up on days at sea because everyone is onboard the ship. You might notice more trivia contests, tournaments in the casino, afternoon shows in the theater, musical entertainment, poolside activities, and even special classes not offered on other days of your cruise.
    Day 9

    Fiordland National Park

Fiordland National Park. Nestled in the southern part of New Zealand's South Island, Fiordland National Park is a breathtaking destination that boasts stunning natural beauty. With its dramatic landscapes, pristine lakes, and majestic fiords, it's no wonder that this park is a popular tourist spot. Visitors can explore the park through a variety of activities, such as hiking, kayaking, and scenic flights. One of the most popular attractions in the park is Milford Sound, a serene fiord that is surrounded by towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls.

    Day 10

    Dunedin

Dunedin is a charming city located in the southern part of New Zealand's South Island. It is renowned for its Victorian and Edwardian architecture, world-class museums, and stunning natural landscapes. The city's bustling center is home to a wide array of shops, cafes, and restaurants, while the surrounding hills offer endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. Visitors can explore the famous Otago Peninsula, home to rare yellow-eyed penguins and the world's only mainland albatross colony. The city is also famous for its vibrant arts and culture scene, with numerous galleries and theaters showcasing local talent.

    Day 11

    Christchurch

Christchurch is a remarkable city on New Zealand's South Island, with a rich history and a vibrant culture. Visitors can explore the city's fascinating past at the Canterbury Museum, which houses exhibits on the region's Maori and European heritage. For a more contemporary experience, visitors can check out the city's street art scene, which has exploded in recent years. Christchurch's Botanic Gardens are also a must-see, with beautiful flowers and plants from all over the world. And of course, no trip to Christchurch is complete without a stroll along the Avon River.

    Day 12

    Picton

Picton is a charming town located in the heart of New Zealand's Marlborough region. It's often overlooked by visitors in favor of nearby attractions like the Marlborough Sounds, but those who do make the trip to Picton are rewarded with a delightful blend of natural beauty and small-town charm. The town boasts a range of boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as a picturesque waterfront. It's also an ideal base for exploring the surrounding region, with easy access to local wineries, hiking trails, and wildlife reserves.

    Day 15

    Auckland

Auckland.  The central city lies across an isthmus straddling the Pacific Ocean on its east and the Tasman Sea on its west. The buzz of a city is defined by its nautical location. Seagulls, sparrows, and the native tui bird occupy the pohutukawa trees above the beach, competing with the sound of young people singing and playing an impromptu game of touch rugby. World-class shopping and phenomenal dining are never too far from harbors, islands, native bush, and black-sand beaches. Go whale watching, hike an ancient volcano, or taste local award-winning wine.
    Day 16
