    Day 4

    Opatija

Opatija. With a population of around 10,000 people and about 9 miles (14km) west of Rijeka, Opatija was once upon a time the grand dame of Croatian tourism. It was the most fashionable seaside resort during the Austro-Hungarian Empire and many fine hotels, residences, and houses were built there during that period. European royalty also stayed there then, as did celebrities (well, back in the day!) such as the singer Gigli, the dancer Isadora Duncan, and composers Mahler, Puccini, and Lehar. The place has retained much of its glamour, which means that some hotels can be a little pricey. If you’re on a budget, private accommodation is a more suitable choice – info can be obtained from the tourist office in the center of town.
    Day 5

    Zadar

Zadar. If you're looking for a charming coastal town in Croatia, Zadar is a fantastic choice. This ancient city boasts Roman ruins, medieval architecture, and stunning sea views. Start your visit by exploring the Old Town, where you'll find the impressive St. Donatus Church and the bustling People's Square. Take a stroll along the seafront promenade and enjoy the sound of the famous Sea Organ. And don't miss the breathtaking sunsets at the Greeting to the Sun monument. With its rich history, culture, and natural beauty, Zadar is a must-visit destination.

    Day 6

    Split

Split is a stunning city located on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. It’s a lively and vibrant destination that offers travelers a unique blend of ancient and modern experiences. At the heart of the city is the famous Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s over 1,700 years old. The palace is a fascinating maze of narrow streets and hidden courtyards that are packed with restaurants, bars, and shops. Split is also well-known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning views of the nearby islands. Whether you’re interested in history, or culture.

    Day 7

    Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik. Filled with ancient stone buildings, narrow cobbled streets, and fortified ramparts rising above red-tiled rooftops. Stradun is the city's focal point and main artery.  Whilst Dubrovnik's streets are blessedly free of traffic. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the old city remains the pride of the Republic of Croatia and houses the world’s oldest pharmacy.  Lantern-lit limestone alleys, pealing bell towers, and russet rooftops, ancient Dubrovnik remains a show-stopper. From May to September, you’ll find yourself jostling through crowds along its beautiful Stradun (the main promenade, in ivory-white limestone) and towering city walls.
    Day 8

    Kotor

Kotor, a stunning coastal city in Montenegro, is a hidden gem waiting to be uncovered. A walk through the fortified walls of the Old Town will take you back in time, with its cobblestone streets and picturesque architecture. Travelers can explore the many churches, museums, and galleries, or take a hike up the mountain to experience breathtaking views of the Bay of Kotor. This picturesque town is also known for its lively nightlife, delicious seafood, and local wines. Kotor is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the beauty and charm of Montenegro.

    Day 9

    Sibenik

Sibenik is a charming coastal town located in central Dalmatia, Croatia. It’s a small town with a big personality and has plenty of things to offer to its visitors. The town is famous for its magnificent St. James Cathedral, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cathedral has unique architecture and is a must-visit attraction in the town. Other popular landmarks include the Fortress of St. Michael and the medieval garden of St. Lawrence Monastery. Besides its cultural and historical significance, Sibenik also boasts of beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters.
