    Le Havre.  Almost destroyed in WW11 it has been rebuilt into the modern city it is today. Take a short stroll from the docks and turn the corner from the Seine estuary and you will be face to face with the English Channel. This is where you will find the Yacht Marina and in summer beach huts line the shingle beach as far as Sainte-Agresse and elegant and up-market suburb of Le Havre.
