    Shimizu

    Hiroshima

    Hiroshima, the first thing that comes to mind is the atomic bomb. The Peace Memorial Park and Museum are the most visited attractions in Hiroshima. Many first-time visitors are aware of the museum but what they may not realize, is that Hiroshima is also one of the best food cities in Japan. Like Osaka, it’s famous for its okonomiyaki and has long been the source of the best oysters in the country. Hiroshima is one of three cities that the local Japanese like to visit when they travel for food, the other two being Nagoya and Fukuoka.  
    DAY 11

    You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools, and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends. Activities and entertainment tend to ramp up on days at sea because everyone is onboard the ship. You might notice more trivia contests, tournaments in the casino, afternoon shows in the theater, musical entertainment, poolside activities, and even special classes not offered on other days of your cruise. 
    DAY 12

    Busan

    Busan is Korea's second-largest city.  Tourists often come to this region to hike and visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting Dongbaek Island, or bird watching at the Nakdong River estuary.   The country’s largest beach, Haeundae, is 40 minutes away from central Busan and has luxury hotels, and a carnival boardwalk.

    Aomori - Overnight Onboard

    Aomori is relatively unexplored, its verdant landscapes, famous festivals, and World Heritage sites can all still be called "hidden gems". Hiking through unspoiled wilderness, riding in trains heated by stoves, and sampling delectable seafood and sake are just some of its attractions. Aomori is home to one of the world’s largest primeval beech forests stretching over 130,000 hectares, 17,000 hectares of which are designated Natural Heritage. Although much of the designated area is unexplored, there are various hiking trails available through the pristine natural surroundings of Shirakami Sanchi.
