    At Sea

You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools, and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends. Activities and entertainment tend to ramp up on days at sea because everyone is onboard the ship. You might notice more trivia contests, tournaments in the casino, afternoon shows in the theater, musical entertainment, poolside activities, and even special classes not offered on other days of your cruise.
    Day 7

    Akita

Akita is a charming city located in the northern part of Honshu Island in Japan. It is known for its picturesque landscapes, hot springs, and traditional Japanese culture. Akita is famous for its local cuisine, especially the Akita Kiritampo dish, which is made from pounded rice. The city is also home to the beautiful Senshu Park and the Akita Castle ruins, which provide a glimpse into the region's rich history. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of Lake Tazawa, the deepest lake in Japan, and the stunning autumn foliage at the nearby Nyuto Onsen.

    Day 8

    Toyama

Located about two hours north of Tokyo, Toyama City makes use of its natural resources with unique foods and outdoor activities. The sea serves up a bounty of fresh fish, whilst the famous peaks of Tateyama and Tsurugi invite Alpine excursions. Toyama is the largest city and capital of Toyama Prefecture in the Hokuriku Region of northern Chubu. The city is a former castle town and is historically a center of medicine. Due to its position on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, Toyama is a popular stop for tourists on the way to other attractions in the area such as the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.
    Day 9

    Tsuruga

Tsuruga is a port city in Fukui Prefecture facing the Sea of Japan. It is located where Japan’s main island narrows in the middle, about 100 km (60 miles) northeast of Kyoto. At the turn of the twentieth century, when the Trans-Siberian Railway was completed, Tsuruga was the gateway for the fastest route between Japan and Europe. Ships carried passengers from Russia’s easternmost city, Vladivostok, to Tsuruga, and the Europe Asia International Express was set up to run the last leg of the journey to Tokyo, making Tsuruga a very important transfer point. The city was filled with travelers, as were the shops and accommodations that served them. One little-known aspect of its history, though, is that many Jews fleeing Europe came to Tsuruga.
    Day 10

    Sakaiminato

Sakaiminato is located in the Tottori Prefecture. This town is famous for its beautiful coastline, delicious seafood, and unique cultural attractions. One of the most popular attractions in Sakaiminato is the Mizuki Shigeru Road, a street lined with bronze statues of the characters from the popular Japanese manga series, GeGeGe no Kitaro. Visitors can also enjoy a scenic boat ride to the nearby Yumigahama peninsula, where they can explore the stunning dunes and crystal-clear waters. Whether you're a fan of Japanese culture or just looking for a peaceful seaside getaway, Sakaiminato is the perfect destination.

    Day 11

    Busan

Busan is Korea's second-largest city.  Tourists often come to this region to hike and visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting Dongbaek Island, or bird watching at the Nakdong River estuary.   The country’s largest beach, Haeundae, is 40 minutes away from central Busan and has luxury hotels, and a carnival boardwalk.
    Day 12

    Nagasaki

Nagasaki is a unique and interesting destination in Japan that has a rich history and culture. It is famous for its beautiful scenery, hot springs, and delicious local cuisine. One of the top attractions is the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, which is a sobering reminder of the tragic events of World War II. Another must-see is the Nagasaki National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims, which pays tribute to the victims of the atomic bombing. Visitors can also enjoy the stunning views of the city from Mount Inasa, and explore the historic Dutch Slope district.
