    At Sea

    You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools, and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends. Activities and entertainment tend to ramp up on days at sea because everyone is onboard the ship. You might notice more trivia contests, tournaments in the casino, afternoon shows in the theater, musical entertainment, poolside activities, and even special classes not offered on other days of your cruise.

    Hiroshima

    Hiroshima, the first thing that comes to mind is the atomic bomb. The Peace Memorial Park and Museum are the most visited attractions in Hiroshima. Many first-time visitors are aware of the museum but what they may not realize, is that Hiroshima is also one of the best food cities in Japan. Like Osaka, it’s famous for its okonomiyaki and has long been the source of the best oysters in the country. Hiroshima is one of three cities that the local Japanese like to visit when they travel for food, the other two being Nagoya and Fukuoka.

    Cruising - Kanmon Straits

And when the day comes to an end, watching the sunset over the horizon is a breathtaking sight. A day cruising at sea is a day well spent, filled with relaxation, adventure, and beauty.

    Busan

    Busan is Korea's second-largest city.  Tourists often come to this region to hike and visit the Buddhist Temples located deep within the region's mountains. The Beomeosa Temple, founded in 678 AD, is perhaps one of the most frequented temples in the area and is always packed with worshipers and tourists. For art buffs, Busan offers several museums and historical buildings. If scenery is your thing, try visiting Dongbaek Island, or bird watching at the Nakdong River estuary.   The country’s largest beach, Haeundae, is 40 minutes away from central Busan and has luxury hotels, and a carnival boardwalk.

    Nagasaki

    Nagasaki is a unique and interesting destination in Japan that has a rich history and culture. It is famous for its beautiful scenery, hot springs, and delicious local cuisine. One of the top attractions is the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, which is a sobering reminder of the tragic events of World War II. Another must-see is the Nagasaki National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims, which pays tribute to the victims of the atomic bombing. Visitors can also enjoy the stunning views of the city from Mount Inasa, and explore the historic Dutch Slope district.

    Kagoshima

    Kagoshima is a city located on the southern tip of Kyushu island, Japan. It is known for its active volcano, Sakurajima, which offers a breathtaking view of the city. Aside from the natural wonder, the city also boasts historical landmarks such as the Sengan-en, a traditional Japanese garden, and the residence of the Shimazu samurai clan. Foodies will enjoy the local cuisine, particularly Kurobuta pork, a premium pork variety only found in Kagoshima. Travelers seeking a unique experience will find it in Kagoshima.

    Matsuyama

    Matsuyama is the largest city on Shikoku and the capital of Ehime Perfecture. At the heart of the city stands  a  beautiful, original castle. The castle's hilltop vantage point offers a view of the city and a glimpse of the Seto Inland Sea. The city is also famed for being the setting of Natsume Soseki's popular novel, entitled "Botchan". Often read as part of the Japanese school curriculum, the novel describes Matsuyama during the turbulent Mejji Restoration. Natsume's novel helped make the city renowned throughout Japan

    Kochi

    Kochi, also known as Cochin, is a vibrant coastal city in Kerala, India. With its rich history, diverse culture, and beautiful scenery, Kochi is a must-visit destination for travelers. Explore the city's colonial past by visiting the Fort Kochi area, where you can see the iconic Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the Dutch Palace. Take a stroll along Marine Drive to enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the city skyline. Don't forget to indulge in the local cuisine, which features a blend of Indian, Chinese, and European influences.

    Kobe

    Kobe.  Located between the sea and the Roko mountain range. It is also considered one of Japan's most attractive cities. It has been an important port city for many centuries. Its port was among the first to be opened to foreign trade in the 19th century alongside the ports of Yokohama, Nagasaki, Hakodate, and Niigata.

    Shimizu is a small and charming port town located in the Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan. This town is famous for its beautiful views of Mount Fuji, the iconic volcano that is considered a national symbol in Japan. Shimizu is also home to a thriving fishing industry, and visitors can sample some of the freshest seafood in the country here. The town boasts several parks and gardens, including the Sumpujo Park and the Shimizu Minato Dolphin Park.
